"your classes are such an important lifeline for parents"
"felt very safe the whole time with covid restrictions"
"It was the first time i had been out with my baby...and I have to say I felt like a different person when I got home, improved my mental health so much being out and about...meeting other mums and talking to people.
I highly recommend them"
The rules have changed but covid-19 is still very much about. So please follow the below guidelines when you come to a class:
TEENIE JAMMERS AND TOTS JAMMERS (music groups for children and their accompanying adults)
- Please do not attend the session if you or any member of your household has had Covid-19 related symptoms in the last 14 days. If you give me at least 24 hours notice you can rearrange your class or get a refund.
- Please sanitise your hands on entry and exit.
- Mats will remain socially distanced
- Masks must be worn to your mat but can be removed (if you like) once settled on your mat. You must keep your mask handy if you need to chase after a toddler, go to the loo, and to put back on at the end of the class.
- Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your class start time and leave promptly so we can avoid any cross over between classes. Please also fill up from the far side of the door to avoid walking past too many people.
- Doors and windows will be open where possible to assist with ventilation so please bring an extra layer for you and your child(ren).
- You are welcome to bring your own insutrments / props. If you'd like to borrow anything from me it will have been disinfected.
- teenie jammers please also bring your own blanket for your babies comfort laying down on the mats.
- A moisture guard will also be used on woodwind instruments used by myself.
- Our venues have their own strict cleaning regimes but all users of the halls, including me, clean all touch points (light switches, door handles, heater switches).
SOLO JAMMERS (flute, saxophone, piano, and recorder lessons in my home or yours for adults and children)
- Please call, text or email to cancel your lesson if you or any member of your household has had Covid-19 related symptoms in the last 14 days.
- Please sanitise your hands immediately before the class.
- Chairs will be set 1.5 metres apart and we will be seated facing forward so as to minimise risk of virus spreading face to face.
- I will use a moisture guard on my instruments, I would encourage you to do the same.
- At this current time you will be unable to borrow my instruments to try out or practise on so you must have your own instrument.
Just in case you wondered what a socially distanced baby rave looks like...here's me, my mask, my rave gloves, my disco ball, and a pro jammer, to show you how its done!
Baby twerking optional.
