the 'new normal'

"your classes are such an important lifeline for parents"

"your classes are such an important lifeline for parents"

"felt very safe the whole time with covid restrictions"

"It was the first time i had been out with my baby...and I have to say I felt like a different person when I got home, improved my mental health so much being out and about...meeting other mums and talking to people.

I highly recommend them"

TEENIE JAMMERS AND TOTS JAMMERS (music groups for children and their accompanying adults)

- Please do not attend the session if you or any member of your household has had Covid-19 related symptoms in the last 14 days.

- Please wash your hands thoroughly (for at least 20 seconds with antibacterial soap) immediately before you attend your class and as soon as you get home. I will also ask you to sanitise your hands on entry and exit.

- The sessions will be socially distanced. Adults will have their own 'jam zone' to share with their child(ren). To assist with this, only 1 adult will be allowed to accompany your child(ren).

- Masks must be worn by adults at all times for tots jammers group. teenie jam adults can remove their masks in their own jam zone (this is because babies of this age will stay put whilst tots jam adults might have to run around after their tots! Babies also rely on facial expression to understand that everything is ok.)

- Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your class start time and leave promptly so we can avoid any cross over between classes. Please also fill up from the far side of the door to avoid walking past too many people.

- Doors and windows will be open where possible to assist with ventilation so please bring an extra layer for you and your child(ren).

- Where possible, please bring your own instruments; something to waft (colourful scarf, muslin, tea towel), something to shake (maraca, egg shaker, baby rattle) and something that lights up for our baby jam!

- Or you could buy a not-for-profit jam bag where £1 from each sale goes to our wonderful NHS

- teenie jammers please also bring your own blanket for your babies comfort laying down on the mats.

- Minimal musical instruments will be handed out and will only be used by one child in each class. They will then be collected and thoroughly cleaned before the next class.

- Unfortunately children will not be able to play on the keyboard for the time being. A moisture guard will also be used on woodwind instruments used by myself.

- Our venues have their own strict cleaning regimes but all users of the halls, including me, clean all touch points (light switches, door handles, heater switches).

SOLO JAMMERS (flute, saxophone, piano, and recorder lessons in my home for adults and children)

- Please call, text or email to cancel your lesson if you or any member of your household has had Covid-19 related symptoms in the last 14 days.

- Please wash your hands thoroughly (for at least 20 seconds with antibacterial soap) immediately before you attend your lesson and as soon as you get home. I will also ask you to sanitise your hands on arrival.

- Chairs will be set 1.5 metres apart and we will be seated facing forward so as to minimise risk of virus spreading face to face.

- I will use a moisture guard on my instruments, I would encourage you to do the same. I bought mine from www.moistureguard.co.uk for £3 + £2.50 postage

- At this current time you will be unable to borrow my instruments to try out or practise on so you must have your own instrument.
